VAA-Research

In order to establish a third party funded research cluster at the Institute of Social Sciences of the Faculty of Philosophy at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf, two research modules on "Voting Advice Applications" were conducted from April 2011 to April 2012.

The first module focused on VAA research in the national arena, which was to be consolidated and continued through the financial support of the Federal Agency for Civic Education. The second module focused on VAA research in the European context and was intended to deal with the different VAAs in European countries on the basis of a cooperative approach and also to serve the establishment of a researcher network. The two modules are composed of five temporally partly consecutive, partly parallel strands along which the research and communication activities extended.
